What Is FivePD? Overview and Key Features
FivePD is a police-roleplay mod for FiveM, separate from LSPDFR. Learn about legacy features, server requirements, optional add-ons and release-source checks.
FivePD is a police-roleplay modification for FiveM, built around AI scenarios and cooperative patrols on a server. It is a separate project from the single-player LSPDFR mod, not an official multiplayer port or an installation for GTA Online.
FivePDMod.com is an independent guide site, not the FivePD development team. This overview describes legacy FivePD concepts. A current official release and compatibility with every current GTA V edition or FXServer build were not verified in the 22 September 2026 source review. Read the release status and evidence rather than treating a mirror’s version label as the latest release.
For players, start with joining a server. For owners, use the legacy setup workflow. Download information separates existing local archives from external project links.

Key Features of FivePD
The mod, the FiveM platform, the community’s rules and third-party assets are different layers. Do not assume a feature shown on one server is included in every FivePD download.
1. Customizable Police Departments
Servers can organize police-roleplay departments and policies. Custom uniforms, vehicles and equipment may require separate resources, permissions or purchases. Installing FivePD does not automatically supply every department asset shown in a video.
2. Dynamic Callouts
Callouts provide scenarios for officers to respond to. The available pool and behavior depend on the core version and installed packs. The inspected legacy callout configuration contains timeout and probability settings. It does not establish that every scenario mentioned in a guide ships with the mod.
3. Police Procedures in Gameplay
Traffic stops, suspect interactions and arrest-related gameplay are central themes. Server rules determine how players roleplay procedures. This is a game, not a real-world police training system or a guarantee of legal realism.
4. Cooperative Multiplayer Gameplay
Players can patrol together on a FiveM server. A solo patrol still takes place on a server, including a local one; it is not the same as installing a GTA V single-player mod. Compatibility and synchronization should be tested with more than one player before a server opens publicly.
5. Dispatch and Police Computer
Legacy distributions include callout and police-computer functionality. Report-related options are visible in the inspected root configuration. This does not verify an integrated radio service, external CAD connection or a complete evidence-processing system for every version.
6. Community Add-Ons
Callouts, vehicles, lights and visual modifications can extend a server. Each project has its own compatibility, support status and license. Some resources cost money. A public GitHub repository is not, by itself, evidence that the FivePD core is open source or that a compiled archive may be redistributed.
Examples of Gameplay in FivePD
The following are illustrative roleplay scenarios, not verified names or guarantees of included callouts. The older gameplay video shows one server’s experience, not a current compatibility test.
Scenario 1: Traffic Stop Gone Awry
Officers stop a vehicle and the encounter escalates into a pursuit. Whether the driver flees, complies or has associated records depends on the scenario and server configuration.
Scenario 2: High-Speed Chase
Several players coordinate a pursuit. Communication, vehicle choice and the community’s rules shape the roleplay; a cinematic example does not imply every maneuver or tool is supplied by FivePD.
Scenario 3: Disturbance at a Local Store
A callout pack might provide a disturbance or robbery scenario. Check its actual release description, required assets and supported API version rather than installing a pack based only on an example story.
Why Choose This Style of Roleplay?
Police-focused AI encounters can suit players who want a patrol session without an economy-first roleplay setup. Others may prefer a different framework or single-player mod. The best fit depends on the server’s rules, working features and the people you play with; this site does not have a verified active-player count or a comparative popularity ranking.
What to Check Before Installing
Confirm the package source, version, license, database backend and supported environment. Keep FiveM platform support separate from FivePD binary and add-on compatibility. In particular, this review does not certify GTA V Enhanced compatibility or declare a new FivePD release available.
The source notes explain what the inspected third-party legacy files demonstrate and what they do not. A free download is not the same as an open-source license, and a repository activity timestamp is not a release announcement.
Where to Go From Here
Use the player guide to understand joining, the legacy server setup guide for hosting, and callout installation for a controlled customization workflow. Older articles, including ranks and progression, display their review status separately; community policies are not universal game mechanics.
